  •  Collaborated with a team to create an automated robotic linkage mechanism designed to press arcade buttons, which light up in a random sequence. The mechanism targets three pairs of standard buttons, each worth one point, and a special green bonus button valued at three points.

  • Collaboratively designed and developed a detailed 3D model for precise representation of the mechanism, followed by its successful manufacturing.

  • Conducted kinematic analysis using SolidWorks to determine optimal lengths for a four-bar linkage and calculate gear ratios, ensuring precise movement control.

  • Utilized SolidWorks for detailed 3D modeling, integrating team feedback into the linkage system design.

  • Fabricated custom components with CNC machines and lathes for precise assembly.

  • Utilized PID control to ensure accurate targeting of buttons by the linkage mechanism.

  • Achieved the most compact and lightweight mechanism design in the class.

  • Achieved a high score of 275 in the project evaluation.

  • Ensured high precision in gear meshing with minimal backlash.
